Cheryl Mackin-Salisbury
is a doctor of chiropractic and naturopathy practising in Austin,
Texas, since she graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in 1988.
Her undergraduate degree, from Texas A & M University is in
elementary education with minors in Spanish, fine arts, biology, and
nursing. Her own experience in having two NDEs has given her unique
insight and gifts which help her teach and heal every day. In l967,
at age 21, Cheryl had her first experience with death when she broke
her neck (a closed-head-injury) in a flip-and-roll car accident. Her
latest experience was drowning in deep water ocean off the coast of
Oahu, Hawaii. Her body was ripped, torn, and beaten before she was
sent back—this time with physical proof that other beings do exist in
other realms.
Her most recent drowning experience allowed
her to ultimately meet her soul twin, whom she had been crossing paths
with and having like experiences with for 50 years. She considers her
soul twin husband, Edward Salisbury (a three-time near-death
experiencer), and their life together to be her “dessert of life”.
Cheryl has been preparing for and presenting workshops since the early
1990s. In l995 she began studying to be an instructor with Global
Relationship Centres (based on the teachings of the German psychiatrist
Adler). Her work has been influenced by Jean Houston, Shakti Gawain,
Louise Hay, Depok Chopra, native American Ceremony, the Center for
Attitudinal Healing (Jerald Jampolsky’s centre in Austin, Texas, where
she was a facilitator of the ‘healing adults group’) and years of being
a student of fine arts, psychology, and alternative healing.
Cheryl presents a fun and exciting experiential workshop which includes
artwork, movement, meditation, creative visualization, writing,
storytelling, and sharing.
