Toward The Light

Chris Everard ~ He is Britain’s most successful documentary film-maker. He is the only British director making feature-length documentaries for cinema audiences and the only British director to have late show slots every weekend at cinemas in Los Angeles, New York, Paris and Rome simultaneously. His is called the ‘Enfant Terrible!’ (which means the terrible child) of British Cinema by Paris Match magazine.

In 2007, he made no less than four two-hour feature-length documentaries, which were all subsequently released on DVD, each with two-hour bonus discs. That means in 2007 he almost single-handedly matched the entire cinema output of the combined British Film Industry. Since 2004, he has made no less than seven feature-length documentaries which have all been on independent cinema release and then sold to DVD worldwide.

He has just started a 12-acre film production facility here in the South of France. ENIGMA MOTION PICTURES is the most profitable and biggest independent documentary film production organisation in the world, outselling all major studios. It is the biggest independent film production facility to be established in Europe since the era of Ealing Studios. ENIGMA MOTION PICTURES has it’s own on-line production suite, high-definition film-to-video facilities and uses the same computers as George Lucas uses to make Star Wars.

· He was the first person to broadcast video on the internet in 1997. He designed my own codec software to do this.

· He launched the world’s first global TV station broadcasting documentaries and movies on the internet at 9pm on the 9th of the 9th, 1999.

Since then, THE ENIGMA CHANNEL has consistently been in the top 5 per cent of entertainment websites. He's ruthlessly independent and has refused buy-out offers from huge corporations. Consequently, his websites are regularly hacked and attacked. There are bogus versions of the sites, and he hates websites which are run by Satanists, Freemasons, Royalists and Christians alike.

He started out as an assistant music recording engineer earning £60 a week, then went freelance, launched his own pro-audio magazine from my spare bedroom in 1996 and six weeks later sold it for half a million pounds. He ploughed his profits into buying property and invested heavily into THE ENIGMA CHANNEL and a string of on-line TV, Film & Radio organisations.

He foretold the future demise of the pro audio and pro video industry and how the web would eventually replace television in a lecture he delivered at the Royal Television Society in 1999. So far, everything that he predicted has come true. Huge corporations have lost millions on ‘old school’ broadcast and film making ventures. Number One hits are now produced in bedrooms. Films made on camcorders have turned over millions.

Chris started his own film production organisation five years ago and has made the world’s only series of made-for-cinema political documentaries. It is the first non-fiction film series to go to FOUR volumes. THE ILLUMINATI series of films have changed people’s lives. Tens of thousands of copies are shipped all over the world. There is not a country on the face of planet earth which does not have a customer of his. And that includes Iraq, Syria, Jordan and other places which George Bush has bombed. In fact American Military personnel are some of his biggest fans!

His films are the most commonly watched films on Google Video and YouTube. In fact, illegal foreign translations of the films are watched by thousands of people every day. The films are also the most commonly pirated films on Ebay.

Chris was the first person to broadcast leaked audio and video clips of NASA astronauts discussing UFOs. His series of films about the secret space programme are the biggest selling films of their kind and the only UFO feature-length documentaries to play to cinema audiences in Europe. Consequently, he has upset the bosses of NASA even though two astronauts told him that his films were passed around amongst space shuttle crews on a weekly basis!

In 2007, Chris made ‘Spirit World’, the first and only feature-length made-for-cinema documentary about life after death. It exposed for the first time the highest rituals and magical ceremonies of many secret societies. It was the first film to ever prove that the inventor of Television, John Logie Baird, actually stumbled across his invention due to experiments with psychic mediums and cathode ray tubes.
